A significant part of my private life is family time. I am married with two children. We share a passion for traveling and spend a lot of time visiting countries, which are very different to our home.
Besides spending time with my family, I do a lot of sports (running, road cycling, skiing). I have learned how important it is for a manager to have activities to balance work and it became a routine for me to regularly do sports. Another important part of this balance is music, especially classical music. I both listen to it and passionately play the piano.
My interest for travel and different cultures is also displayed in my excitement about cooking. In that regard, I have to admit that my wife and I have a slight preference for Asian cuisine. Over recent years- and maybe due to some recent trips- African cuisine has moved into our area of focus, too.
